How Disney villains die.

I have noticed how Disney villains always had to be responsible for their own deaths. The good guy can’t straight up kill them. The preferred method has been to have them cause their own fall from some great height. This also conveniently allows them to disappear from sight, so the young audience is spared the ugly after image.

I am happy that YouTube user ChiefBrodyRules has put together this super cut of Disney villain death scenes. (mostly deaths, some are just falls.) While not specifically comedy, there are some funny moments added in, usually provided by the sidekicks. Some villains are a little ridiculous to begin with, so humor works better with them. Others are portrayed as truly fearsome, so it’s more appropriate to keep their deaths serious.

Jimmy Slonina

Jimmy Slonina is my kind of performer. I discovered him when one of his lip sync videos showed up on Boing Boing. Here are three of those. These are great for watching how faces move, but equally, if you are creating lip sync you might want to create reference that goes to this level.

Celebrity Deathmatch

In the news, MTV is bringing back Celebrity Deathmatch, which was created by Eric Fogel in 1998. Here are some samples from earlier seasons. Celebrity Deathmatch. (Click link to see Buster Keaton Vs. Charlie Chaplin)
